Thoughts during a workoutDecember 1, 2022
Just been reflecting on how my priorities and what I value have changed over time. Some of these old thought frameworks weren’t super healthy for me. Some were fine, but incomplete – like the first one lol. I like looking good, but I also now see so many benefits to my training that support my longevity and ability to do things and enjoy a high quality of life because I’m strong. Training for these deeper reasons helped me be more consistent, self motivated and dedicated to this practice that ultimately supports my long term health.
Getting the time to exercise feels like a gift and a privilege. I try not to take it for granted these days.
Remember to speak to yourself with kindness and that it’s all or something, not all or nothing. We are all works in progress 💛
