Run the Test 08 — Sandbag Ladder, ‘22 CrossFit Games

“Fitness is about being able to express (it) in ways that aren’t always going to be what you expect.”

Saturday at the CrossFit Games usually wraps up with a test of fitness featuring heavy barbells and the fittest on Earth under the bright lights of the Coliseum. On Saturday at the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games, however, not a barbell was in sight.

In this episode of “Run the Test,” Competition Director Adrian Bozman dives into the creation of the Sandbag Ladder event and the value in expressing fitness “via other means.” He also describes the differences between training adaptations and the benefits of training and applying strength and fitness in nonspecific ways.
